Lightweight, bulby ends! "These double pointed needles for making small things like socks are amazing! I look forward to using them on light colored yarns as they are nearly black in color. They are so light in the hands! I like the bulb-shaped tips as they glide easily through yarn. The texture of the needle is delicately roughened, just enough to keep the yarn in place. I well order a set in the light color to work dark colored yarns."

I was surprised at these "I was surprised at these needles. The yarn glides easily and the 'bulb' tip seems to alleviate some yarn splitting as well as discouraging the stitches from jumping off the end. They're very comfortable to use and may just be my new favorites for socks."

A fine technology that makes knitting fun "These are superbly designed needles. I knit in the "Norwegian style", which requires a certain amount of pushing on the ends of the needles with my finger tips. I never have any pain or sensitivity with the special tips on these needles. I love the triangular middle section, as the knitting just doesn't slip off. Finally, the carbon fiber is strong and flexible. A really great material choice. Yay!"
