I had to ream out the eye of a Chinese needle just to thread it and sewing by hand was difficult. I replaced those with this pack and had no trouble threading or sewing. Being near-sighted gives me an advantage at small mechanical puzzles and I quickly found the plastic detente in the opening of the needle holder and pressed it. After using the [beautiful] needle, I twisted the holder so that the opening is closed but not locked. It's a relief to have a full pack of slippery sharp needles in the sewing kit."

Horrible Design "Worst case design ever. When I finally manage to open it the needles scattered so labels are useless. Package should have instructions if there’s a way to dispense needles without taking the top off. There is a spot that looks like it would let an individual needle out IF you could turn it, but there’s a permanent tab that prevents turning it."

Needles great. Case is awful "Cannot open or slide case even after watching video. Clear plastic top does not slide around."
