"I have used spindles and yarn bowls, which work well too, but this gadget controls the yarn in all directions thanks to the different openings to draw the yarn from. I find that yarn on spindles or in bowls can still jump up and out, requiring attention. This opens and closes easily when I want to realign things a bit. This has worked well with all the yarns I have used but when I was using a chained cotton/linen fiber that tangled easily this yarn holder was indispensable, as it would be for slippery yarn. It is a simple solution that works just as it is meant to."

Wonderful storage bowl for yarn!

"I never used one of these yarn bowls before and love how handy it is. The yarn stays wrapped neatly, but rolls out nicely when we you pull on it. I also like the small holes in the sides to store the needles."

"The Prym Yarnit Yarn Bowl is rather impressive. When I'm crocheting I put my ran ball in and get to work. It keeps my yarn in place and it feeds out of the bowl smoothly. It does limit the size you make your yarn balls though, so I have to keep that in mind when making them. All around though it's pretty great!"

"Exactly what I was looking for! I just wish more yarn was already in a ball. I love the way the bottom stays where I place it. and the area that the yarn string comes out is great! It's long and wide enough to allow the yarn to move as the ball moves inside the sphere. Great idea! and Great product!"
