Heavy Duty
"I gifted my mom one of these thread holders because she had been struggling with a plastic one she had. She loved this one. The thread holder comes in three parts. The base is quite heavy as it's made of metal, but that does a great job with staying flat as you work. The other two parts are metal bars. The one with a loop to put the thread and work, and the one that goes in the middle of the metal circle base to prevent the thread you're using from moving, ripping, rolling, etc."

"Dritz Cone Thread Holder (Heavy Duty) is great for holding those large spools! Easy to assemble (just stick rod in and tighten with screwdriver), plop spool on the base, thread through rod and sewing machine... Then let it roar! The base is weighted so it will not shift around the table, the thread does not get caught on anything (within reason), and the spool stays stationary."
