The forgiving surface of the 5-1/2\" x 8-1/2\" Omnigrid cutting mat is ideal for use in quilting - for foundation piecing, for use with rotary cutting templates and for working with miniatures; the petite size of this cutting mat makes it ideal for many quilting techniques, as well as basic sewing and crafting applications.
