It makes cutting so much easier because of the contrast of the blue against the light pattern colors. Also, the mat folds up, so it’s easy to take when I travel. I always go to my Grandma’s to work on projects, so the folding mat makes transporting my supplies so much easier. It also comes with a ruler with angle lines which is so helpful. "The smaller Omnigird Rotary Cutting Kit with Folding Mat is the perfect size. A lot of what I sew is bikinis, so the smaller mat is a great space saver and is just the right size to cut my patterns.
