Sewing supplies

"I was very happy to get some good sewing supplies from Handicraft. My niece is going to love the disappearing marking pen for her birthday. The supplies came quickly and well packaged."

Q&A

I used the "Disappearing Ink Marking Pen" on CARON yarn, when I crocheted an amigurumi stuffed. I marked a line with the Pen, but put it in the wrong place. Will this Marking disappear on its own on the yarn, or do I have to do something else? I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Hi Crystal, Thank you for reaching out to us. We will need a little more information on the yarn to help give you the best guidance to remove the pen. Can you please email us at pcusa.customerservice@prym.com for further assistance. Thank you.
I wanted to mark a quilt design on white on white cotton fabric. I did a test spot and it came off with a damp cloth. Then I used it on the quilt. The first design came off ok but subsequent use did not, even after trying a damp cloth. How do I get rid of the marks?
Thank you for reaching out to us. We have found that blotting the area with household rubbing alcohol will help remove any excess ink. Allow it to air dry and this should remove the rest of the ink. You may have to repeat the process depending on how heavily the area was marked. ONE WORD OF CAUTION: Before applying any chemical to your fabric, we always recommend doing a test application first to make sure you will not have any color or fiber damage. Before using the alcohol, test on a scrap of your fabric or test on an inconspicuous place of a garment or project.
